Sometimes the solution you're looking for is closer than you think.

The Scrambler of London Seat Cover began during a motorcycle trip through Devon. Jasper, founder of Scrambler of London, was putting in the miles and enjoying the roads, but there was one thing getting increasingly difficult to ignore, his seat. After hours in the saddle, discomfort and numbness were beginning to take their toll. Like many riders who enjoy longer days on the bike, Jasper had reached the point where something needed to change. What he didn't know at the time was that, while riding through Devon and dealing with the very problem he wanted to solve, he passed within just five miles of the MotoCoverz workshop.

Neither of us knew it yet, but the beginnings of a proper British collaboration were already in motion.

From a Devon Ride to MotoCoverz

After returning from his trip, Jasper started searching for ways to improve comfort in the saddle without replacing or permanently modifying his motorcycle seat. That search led him to MotoCoverz. When Jasper got in touch and we began talking, we soon discovered the coincidence: during the Devon trip that had prompted his search for a more comfortable seat, he'd been riding only a few miles from our door. From there, the conversation quickly moved on to what we could create. Jasper had a clear idea of what he wanted, so rather than simply choosing one of our existing covers, we worked together on something specifically suited to his requirements. Using our popular 2Up sheepskin seat cover as the starting point, the design was reshaped and customised to Jasper's specifications.

The result is The Scrambler of London Seat Cover.

Exclusively Moorland Brown

Jasper's specification wasn't limited to the shape. He also selected Moorland Brown sheepskin for the finished cover, and we've kept the production version true to his original choice. That means The Scrambler of London Coverz is available exclusively in Moorland Brown. It's an earthy, understated shade that feels perfectly at home on scramblers, modern classics, retro machines and custom builds. And because genuine sheepskin is a natural material, no two hides are completely identical. Subtle variations in colour, texture and character mean every Scrambler of London cover has an individuality of its own.

ComfortCraft adds an additional foam layer beneath the sheepskin, providing extra cushioning between the rider and the original motorcycle seat.

Cotton Tie Fastening

The Scrambler of London features our popular cotton tie fastening system.

Simple, traditional and effective, the ties allow the cover to be secured beneath the motorcycle seat or around suitable points on the frame, depending on the bike and your preferred fitting method.

There's no need for permanent modifications or complicated mounting hardware.

A Proper British Collaboration

There's something wonderfully fitting about how The Scrambler of London came about.

Jasper was riding through Devon, becoming increasingly uncomfortable on his motorcycle and thinking there had to be a better solution. Five miles away was MotoCoverz. He didn't know we were there. We didn't know he was riding past.

A little while later, his search for a solution brought him straight to us anyway.

What followed wasn't simply a case of picking a product from the shelf. We talked about what Jasper wanted, took our established 2Up design as a starting point and adapted it around his specifications.

The finished cover brings together Scrambler of London's distinctive approach to motorcycles with MotoCoverz's experience working with genuine sheepskin.
