An Update from MotoCoverz: Looking Ahead, Giving Back, and Improving Our Service

We wanted to take a moment to share a more detailed update with our community, covering a few important developments here at MotoCoverz. Like many small, growing businesses, the journey isn’t always straightforward, but we believe in being open and honest about both the challenges and the positives along the way.

ABR Festival 2026 – Stepping Back to Move Forward

Firstly, some sad news. After a lot of consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to withdraw from the ABR Festival 2026.

Unfortunately, the timing of the festival coincides with personal circumstances that make our attendance next year a stretch too far for such a young company. Taking part in an event of this scale requires a significant investment of time, energy, and resources, and at this stage, it’s important for us to make decisions that allow MotoCoverz to remain sustainable and continue growing in the right direction.

This was by no means an easy choice. The ABR Festival is an event we genuinely value, not only for the exposure but for the opportunity to meet customers, fellow businesses, and members of the riding community face-to-face. However, sometimes stepping back is the most responsible way to ensure we can come back stronger.

We want to be absolutely clear that this is not a permanent withdrawal. Attending ABR is firmly on the cards for 2027, and it remains a goal we’re excited about once the timing and circumstances align more comfortably.

Supporting Grassroots Motorsport – Sponsoring Nikki Carter, D/C Racing

Moving on to some much more positive news, we’re incredibly proud to announce our sponsorship of Nikki Carter from D/C Racing.

Nikki is part of a local-to-us grassroots racing team, and supporting riders at this level is something that aligns perfectly with our values at MotoCoverz. Grassroots motorsport is driven by passion, dedication, and an enormous amount of hard work—often with very limited funding behind it.

To help support Nikki throughout the 2026 racing season, we’ve created a dedicated sponsorship and donation page on our website. This page allows anyone who wishes to contribute to do so easily and transparently. Most importantly, 100% of all donations go directly to Nikki, helping cover essential costs such as race entries, travel, equipment, and general season expenses. MotoCoverz does not take a cut or fee from any donations made.

For us, this sponsorship isn’t about commercial gain. In return, MotoCoverz receives a small sticker on the bike and, more importantly, the satisfaction of helping someone progress in a sport we care deeply about. We’re genuinely excited to follow Nikki’s journey and to play a small part in supporting her development.

Reviewing Our Collection & Seat Drop-Off Service

Finally, we want to address an issue that has led us to review our collection and seat drop-off service.

Unfortunately, we recently experienced a situation where a seat went missing while in transit with DPD. Thankfully, in this case, it was a spare seat, which helped limit the impact. However, this situation has highlighted a concern we simply cannot ignore—especially in cases where a customer’s seat may be the only one they have.

This is not a standard we’re willing to accept. As a result, we’re taking a closer look at how we handle collections, drop-offs, and courier services to ensure we’re doing everything possible to protect our customers’ property and maintain trust.

We’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank Jason, who has been absolutely fantastic throughout this situation. His understanding, patience, and communication have been hugely appreciated, and we’re grateful for the way he’s worked with us while we resolve and learn from this experience.

As always, we want to thank every customer, supporter, and member of the MotoCoverz community. We’re still a young company, and with that comes learning, adapting, and continuously improving. Your support allows us to grow responsibly, give back where we can, and keep raising the bar for the service we provide.
